it’s not about the paint…

Towards the end of 2007, Emily Hill met a watercolour artist in Trina Bohan Tyrie in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea and this meeting changed the way Emily approached her art.  Trina was holding watercolour lessons in Moresby and Emily took to this new found medium with skill and flair.

It didn’t take long for Emily to establish herself in Port Moresby with a range of portraits depicting the culture and the life of the beautiful people of Papua New Guinea.
